The State government has informed the Kerala High Court that there is no structural weakness in apartments that were built at Wadakkancherry in Thrissur under the LIFE Mission project.
A report in this regard by experts from the NIT Kozhikode too was submitted before the court recently. The government said that some more works are pending in the apartments. There is no need to dismantle the apartments, despite concerns about the quality of the construction works. Water leakage is another concern. But the structures can be used once their pending works get over, it said.
