'Nobody really cares about the truth ' - Madhav Suresh clarifies police custody incident; says he has no complaint

Recently, a heated confrontation between actor Madhav Suresh and a political party leader Vinod Krishna created a stir in Thiruvananthapuram. The incident unfolded around 11 pm at Sasthamangalam Junction, where Madhav was traveling from his residence to Vellayambalam.

At the junction, his vehicle had a near collision with Vinod Krishna’s car, leading both to stop and step out. What began as a verbal exchange soon escalated, drawing the attention of bystanders and police officers who rushed to the spot.

Madhav taken into custody, released after medical test

According to The Hindu reports, Vinod Krishna raised suspicion that the actor might have been under the influence of alcohol. Following this, police took Madhav into custody for verification.

However, medical examination confirmed that Madhav had not consumed alcohol, leading to his release without any case being registered. The actor later emphasized that the entire episode was blown out of proportion. “No complaints against Vinod Krishna Sir, as we both understood what we did wrong to each other and he also knows how he initiated the situation,” he clarified.

Madhav says nobody cares to know the truth

Madhav chose to directly address the issue on social media, taking to Instagram to share his side of the story. In his note, he expressed frustration over the way events were portrayed: “Like a bad apple among a bunch, our wonderful police force has some bad apples too, and one of them, in spite of Vinod Sir not having a complaint, wanted to make sure cameras captured me getting into a police jeep.” He further added that people on the scene knew what had truly happened, yet false narratives quickly spread online.

“The crowd over there also knew exactly what happened there. I mean, nobody really cares about the truth do they,” the actor wrote.
