Drake has placed a substantial wager of $300,000 on Jannik Sinner, the top-ranked men’s tennis player globally, to win the U.S. Open.

The rapper, known for making large bets on sports events—and frequently losing them—shared a screenshot of his betting slip from Tuesday afternoon on social media. This six-figure bet could yield $507,000 if Sinner secures his fifth major championship and second U.S. Open title.

The so-called Drake Curse has been cited for several losses over recent years, including $210,000 on American Taylor Fritz to defeat Sinner in the 2024 U.S. Open final. According to a website that tracks Drake’s declared bets and the curse, he is down $115,000 on tennis, having mitigated his losses by correctly predicting Sinner’s victory in the Australian Open final in January.

Sinner has advanced to the quarterfinals after decisively beating Alexander Bublik in their fourth-round match. The 24-year-old will next face fellow Italian Lorenzo Musetti and is the favourite to win according to BetMGM Sportsbook.
