Nothing Phone 4a white colour variant revealed; features updated Glyph Bar mini-LED lights

Nothing Phone 4a is scheduled to launch on March 5 and the internet is flooded with likely features and design of the upcoming smartphone. Now, ahead of the launch, Nothing has officially teased white colour variant of the handset, showcasing its updated Glyph Bar min-LED lights.

The Nothing Phone 4a series will consist of two phones – Nothing Phone 4a and Nothing Phone 4a Pro. In India, the handsets will be available via Walmart-owned Flipkart. Both the smartphones are tipped to come powered by Qualcomm chipsets. Here’s what the teased image of the smartphone reveals about Nothing Phone 4a

Nothing Phone 4a to come with updated Glyph Bar

As can be seen in the teases photo, the Glyph bar – which will replace the existing Glyph interface – will consist of six square LEDs featuring 9 individually controllable mini-LEDs. They are placed next to the camera island. These are expected to be programmable and brighter than the LEDs on previous Nothing phonesThe official image also shows buttons of the upcoming Nothing Phone 4a – the Essential key placed on the left.

Nothing Phone 4a expected features

Nothing has revealed that its upcoming smartphones will be equipped with UFS 3.1 on board storage and bigger batteries as compared to their predecessors – Nothing Phone 3a and Nothing Phone 3a (Pro).Both smartphones – Nothing Phone (4a) and Nothing Phone (4a) Pro are tipped to come powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon processors. Exact name of the chipsets stay under covers though.

The duo is also said to come in 8GB+128GB RAM and storage configurations. Rumours also suggest that the smartphone may come in black and white colour options.The Pro variant – Nothing Phone (4a) Pro is tipped to come with IP65 rating which means it will be resistant to dust and water. It is also rumoured that the company may offer up to five years of security update to the smartphone. On the battery front, the handset may be backed by a 5,080 mAh battery with 50W fast charging support.Alongside the Phone 4a and Phone 4a Pro, Nothing is also expected to launch a pair of over-ear headphones that may be called Nothing Headphone (a), although there is no official confirmation yet.
