Notice issued to Jairam, JLKM’s Ghatshila candidate for flouting traffic rules

Jamshedpur: Jairam Mahto, the incumbent Dumri MLA and president of Jharkhand Loktantrik Krantikari Morcha (JLKM) was on Wednesday issued a notice by the East Singhbhum district administration for flouting traffic rules during a road show.

Besides Mahto, JLKM’s Ghatshila bypoll candidate Ramdas Murmu was also issued a notice in this regard.Notices were issued after Mahto and Murmu sat on the roof of a SUV while heading to the Ghatshila subdivisional office to file nomination papers on Tuesday. East Singhbhum deputy commissioner Karn Satyarthi, who is also the district election officer, has asked the duo to furnish their replies within a day.
