'Now, I’m Ahaan Panday’s uncle': Chunky Panday embraces his new ‘Saiyaara’ tag

Chunky Panday recently opened up about embracing his new 'Saiyaara' tag. In a recent chat, the ace actor said that he is now called Ahaan Panday's uncle and it has become his identity.

With his signature humor, the actor introduced himself as Chunky 'Saiyaara' Panday which is a playful nod to his nephew Ahaan Panday’s blockbuster debut 'Saiyaara'.The actor joked that people have started congratulating him for the film’s success, and that “Saiyaara” has now unofficially become part of his name. Chunky shared, “Pehle main Doctor Panday ka beta tha, phir main Chunky Panday ban gaya. Short time ke liye phir main Ananya Panday ka father ban gaya. Baad me main Bhavna Panday ka husband ban gaya.

Aur ab main Ahaan Panday ka chacha hoon. To meri pehchan yahi ho gayi hai.” ("First, I was Doctor Panday’s son. Then, I became Chunky Panday. For a short time, I became Ananya Panday’s father. Later, I became Bhavna Panday’s husband. And now, I’m Ahaan Panday’s uncle. So, this has become my identity.")

A proud father

The actor also spoke about being identified as Ananya Panday’s father, saying he finds it a huge compliment. He fondly recalled how his late father, a respected heart surgeon, once felt honoured to be called “Chunky Panday’s father” at a medical conference.

“Mujhe wo excitement samajh nahi aayi, but aaj jab mujhe Ananya ka father bulate hain, I know now that feeling,” he shared.

Ahaan and Aneet spark off-screen buzz

Meanwhile, Ahaan Panday continues to make headlines and this time for his growing closeness with co-star Aneet. The duo, who starred together in 'Saiyaara', have become fan favourites, both for their on-screen chemistry and their rumoured off-screen bond.On Aneet’s 23rd birthday, Ahaan shared adorable photos from the Coldplay concert, including moments of laughter, music, and fireworks. The highlight was a clip of them vibing to “Fix You,” leaving fans gushing, “They look so in love!”
