Nursing student found dead in hostel, parents suspect foul play

A 20-year-old nursing student at a private college in southeast Bengaluru’s Bommasandra was found dead in his hostel on Wednesday. While the police are treating it as a case of self-harm, his parents have alleged foul play.

The deceased has been identified as Adhithyan P.A., a native of Thiruvananthapuram in Kerala. The incident occurred inside his hostel room. Adhithyan’s father has alleged foul play, citing an incident that took place earlier in April, and requested the police to register a case of suspicious death.
