Odisha man held for trafficking ganja to Kerala

The Pallithottam police have arrested a man from Odisha for trafficking ganja to Kerala. The accused has been identified as Tukkunnu Paricha, 27, of Paniganda in Odisha. He was nabbed by a team of police officials from Odisha.

Last month, Pallithottam police arrested two persons with 21 kgs of ganja. Two weeks ago, Anchalummoodu police arrested a man with 10 kgs of ganja. Investigations in both cases revealed that the arrested persons were members of Tukkunnu’s gang.

Officials said those in need of ganja in Kerala used to contact Tukkunnu over the phone and place orders. Members of his gang would then deliver the contraband to buyers in Kerala.
