Officials urged to enhance implementation of ‘Jaladhara-Jalaharathi’ initiative

The ‘Jaladhara–Jalaharathi’ programme, along with Swarna Andhra–Swachh Andhra (SASA) initiative, was conducted at the scenic Dharmavaram tank in Sri Sathya Sai district on Saturday (April 18, 2026).

Addressing a gathering of officials and volunteers, district Collector A. Shyam Prasad said that the government has designated the third Saturday to focus on the restoration of feeder channels to tanks, aiming to conserve rainwater and improve groundwater levels.
