A one-day training program on implementing the new food menu and following standard operating procedures was held for the cooking staff of Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalayas here at the Institute of Hotel Management, Hyderabad, on Tuesday.
Director, School Education, E.V. Narasimha Reddy said a total of 93 staff from 31 districts participated in the programme. The trained personnel will act as district resource persons to impart necessary skills to the remaining staff in their respective districts.
Mr. Reddy said the cooking staff were trained to follow the SOP prescribed at the State level and to cook and serve the same food as per the standardised menu.
IHM Hyderabad principal Sanjay Thakur, special officers and others were present.
