One killed, 3 hurt as SUV from Bengaluru hits van at Moghili ghat in Andhra Pradesh

One person was killed on the spot and three others were critically injured in a road mishap at Doravari Cheruvu at the Moghili ghat section of Chittoor-Bengaluru national highway, 30 km from Chittoor on August 26.

The police said an SUV coming from Bengaluru collided with a van at a diversion point.

The deceased was identified as Vinod Kumar (30) of Bengaluru. The injured were rushed to a hospital at Bangarupalem, and later shifted to the District Hospital in Chittoor.

A case was registered.
