S Jaishankar stresses deeper India-Russia cooperation in BRICS, SCO, G20 and UN amid shifting geopolitics and a multipolar order.

External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar on Monday virtually addressed the conference titled ‘India and Russia: Towards a new bilateral agenda’, highlighting the importance of deeper cooperation between the two countries amid shifting global dynamics.
During his address, Jaishankar emphasised the need for stronger collaboration within key international platforms as the world moves toward a multipolar order. “The evolving multipolar order necessitates greater cooperation, including BRICS, SCO, G20 and the UN… India, during its BRICS chairmanship, with a humanity-first and people-centric approach, looks forward to closely working with Russia…In today’s evolving geo-political dynamics, our engagement continues to deepen – driven by frequent high-level exchanges," he said.
