PSG star Ousmane Dembele presented the UEFA Champions Trophy at the Roland Garros during the French Open 2025 on Monday following the Parisian giants’ maiden elite continental title with their 5-0 rout of Inter Milan in the summit clash in Munich.
Dembele, the UCL player of the season, brought the trophy out to the public ahead of Novak Djokovic’s match against Cameron Norrie and held it aloft for the French audience to marvel at as he proclaimed ‘Ici c’est Paris!’. PSG President Nasser Al Khelaifi was also in attendance on the day.
Dembele played a crucial role in Luis Enrique’s men clinching their first-ever UCL title with a rampant showing in the summit clash. Desire Doue starred with a brace, while Achraf Hakimi, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia and Senny Mayulu all also found the back of the net in an emphatic performance to give the Qatari-owned side their first-ever Champions League title.
PSG were welcomed by hordes of adoring fans on their return to the French Capital City amidst stringent security surrounding the parade as fans gathered at the Champs-Élysées to mark the historic occasion, after two people were reported dead and a police officer was put into an induced coma due to the wild celebrations PSG’s win set off in France.
Serbian legend Novak Djokovic, who stepped onto the court following the presentation to pick up his 100th win at Roland Garros, made quick work of Brit Cameron Norrie in a straight-sets 6-2, 6-3, 6-2 victory.
Djokovic went on to applaud PSG’s title-winning run at the most prestigious club event in Europe as he remarked, “It was an incredible season for PSG, so congratulations to all the PSG fans and my friend Nasser."
“It was very important for the city to have PSG as a Champions League winner for the first time," the 24-time Grand Slam champions added.
