Supplementary exam will start on June 16
Pune: The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) will begin the secondary school certificate (SSC, std X) and higher secondary certificate (HSC, std XII) supplementary exams from Tuesday, June 16, with more than 1.53 lakh students registered across the state.According to board secretary Deepak Mali, a total of 48,723 SSC students and 1,04,494 HSC students have enrolled for the supplementary exams, which are being conducted by the board’s nine divisional offices in Pune, Mumbai, Nagpur, Nashik, Kolhapur, Amravati, Latur, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar and Konkan.The SSC supplementary exam will be held from June 16 to June 30, while the HSC exam will continue until July 8.The board has advised students to follow only the officially published timetable. Candidates must report to exam centres by 10.30am for the morning session and 2.30pm for the afternoon session. Question papers will be distributed at 11am and 3pm, respectively.As in the Feb-March 2026 board examinations, students will be given an additional 10 minutes beyond the prescribed duration of each paper.Marks for practicals, oral exams, internal assessments and grade-based components will be uploaded online. Detailed instructions and the required portal link have already been shared with schools and junior colleges through the divisional boards, officials said.
