Over 20 injured in stray dog attack in Kannur

Panic gripped Kannur city on Tuesday afternoon (June 17) after more than 20 people were reportedly bitten by stray dogs at multiple locations, including the new bus stand area, the SBI premises, and Prabhat Junction. The injured are undergoing treatment at the Kannur District Hospital.

Authorities are yet to confirm whether the attacks were carried out by a single dog or a pack. Health officials have advised all victims to complete the full course of anti-rabies vaccination.
