Pack of stray dogs mauls Class 7 girl to death in Madhya Pradesh

BHOPAL: A 13-year-old girl was mauled to death by a pack of stray dogs in Samnapur village of Seoni district on Friday afternoon. The victim, identified as Avni Binokhe, went to the fields with a friend around 4 pm.

While returning, they were surrounded by dogs. Her friend managed to escape, but the animals attacked Avni, inflicting injuries on her neck and arms.Family members took her to hospital after being alerted, but doctors could not save her. Avni was a Class 7 student, her family said.Kanhiwada police were informed soon after the incident. An inquest was conducted, the body sent for post-mortem, and a case registered.
