Pakistan on Wednesday conducted airstrikes in Afghanistan’s Spin Buldak city. According to the details, the airstrikes hit near the Chaman Border Crossing.
The fighting between the two countries began on the night of October 11, when Afghan forces struck multiple Pakistani military posts.
According to The Associated Press, Afghanistan officials claimed to have killed 58 Pakistani soldiers in response to what they said were repeated violations of Afghan territory and airspace.
A video from Afghanistan’s Spin Buldak on Wednesday showed thick black smoke rising from the spot where the strike hit.
The deadly weekend clashes between the countries have spiked tensions and left hundreds of people stranded.
