Panchayat Secretary trapped by Telangana ACB in Nirmal district

Officials of the Telangana Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) on Tuesday (June 24, 2025) caught M. Shiva Krishna, panchayat secretary of Godiseryala village in Nirmal district, while he was allegedly receiving a bribe of ₹12,000 from the complainant for doing an official favour.

The panchayat secretary demanded the bribe for processing the application of the complainant’s wife for a new water plant and allotting a house number for it, ACB sources said.

The tainted amount was recovered from him and later he was arrested. He will be produced before the special court for SPE & ACB cases at Karimnagar.
