Panel to discuss the potential for integrated townships in Coimbatore on August 22

The third panel discussion as part of ‘Coimbatore Unlimited 3.0’, a series of events presented by G Square and powered by The Hindu, will be held in Coimbatore on August 22 on “Defining Coimbatore’s Growth Trajectory with Integrated Townships”.

Tamil Nadu is ranked as the most urbanised State in India. As per the 2011, Census, the rate of urbanisation in Tamil Nadu was 48.45% and according to latest projections, the rate of urbanisation in Tamil Nadu has reached 63% in 2021.

Apart from Chennai, Coimbatore, Madurai, and Tiruchi are seeing growth. In Coimbatore, with multiple new age sectors gaining strength in Coimbatore, new growth nodes are coming up in and around the city. Integrated townships can be developed as smart cities offering high quality of living and connectivity and spread out development. Experts will discuss in Coimbatore the scope and advantages of integrated townships and how such township projects can define the future growth of the city and larger Coimbatore area in residential, commercial, and retail spaces. 

The discussion will be moderated by Vishnu BG, Associate Director – GCC Practice, KGiSL, and the panelists will be Junaith Babu, Chief Operating Officer, GSquare Group, Sanjay Chugh, City Head and Director Anarock Property Consultants, Chennai, Sathish J, Director of Kongu Global Forum, and Jude Alex, Managing Director of Synergy Business Ventures.
