Parliament Monsoon Session LIVE Updates: INDIA bloc MPs are set to protest against the ‘vote chori’ by BJP and Election Commission, as alleged by Lok Sabha LoP Rahul Gandhi in a press conference on Thursday. The Congress party also moved an adjournment notice in the Parliament, seeking a discussion regarding alleged fake votes and alleged irregularities in the Lok Sabha elections. In his notice, Congress MP Manickam Tagore reiterated Rahul Gandhi’s claim of one lakh fake votes in an assembly seat in Karnataka.
National Sports Bill in Lok Sabha: The Lok Sabha on Friday is scheduled to take up the National Sports Governance Bill of 2025 for consideration and passage in the House. The Bill will be moved by Union Sports Minister Mansukh Mandaviya. The Union Minister is also scheduled to move amendments to the National Anti-Doping Act, 2022. Further, Union Ports, Shipping, and Waterways Minister Sarbananda Sonowal will move the Indian Ports Bill of 2025, as per the List of Business of the House.

Bihar SIR protests to continue: Protests by Opposition MPs have taken the centre stage in both Houses this Parliament session, with continued disruptions and adjournments throughout the week. Opposition MPs are demanding a discussion on the voter list revision of Bihar ahead of the assembly elections, but Union Minister Kiren Rijiju clarified earlier this week that the matter can’t be discussed as it has already been taken up by the Supreme Court.
