Pawan Kalyan's 'Ustaad Bhagat Singh' update: Harish Shankar reveals midnight music sittings with DSP

After assuming office as Andhra Pradesh's Deputy Chief Minister, Pawan Kalyan is now gradually returning to complete his much-awaited films. One of the projects among them is 'Ustaad Bhagat Singh,' directed by Harish Shankar.

While the film has seen several delays due to the actor's political commitments, things finally appear to be picking up pace.Taking to X (formerly Twitter), director Harish Shankar recently shared an update about the movie's progress. He posted that music sittings with ace composer Devi Sri Prasad (DSP) are currently underway and are progressing well into the wee hours of the morning. Harish's post read, "Midnight sittings with DSP are lit… magic is happening! #UstaadBhagatSingh."

The music director further re-tweeted the post and wrote, "Sirrrrrrrr Jiiiiiiiiiiii @harish2you Our Music Sittings are always like Music Concerts".

'Ustaad Bhagat Singh' also stars Sreeleela as the female lead. The young actress, who's been a part of several big-budget Telugu films recently. The production is reportedly progressing at a fast pace with the makers keen to bring the film to audiences by 2026.

In the film, Pawan Kalyan will be seen in the role of a cop.

This will be his second film with director Harish after 'Gabbar Singh'.Apart from 'Ustaad Bhagat Singh', Pawan Kalyan also has a few other high-profile films in his pipeline. These include 'Hari Hara Veera Mallu', which will be a period drama film directed by Krish Jagarlamudi, the movie is set to release on July 24. The film stars Bobby Deol and features Nidhhi Agerwal in the lead. He will be also seen in a stylish gangster film, 'They Call Him OG' or simply 'OG' by Sujeeth. The movie stars Emraan Hashmi as the antagonist and also features Priyanka Mohan as the female lead.
