Ram Charan's highly anticipated sports action drama 'Peddi,' directed by Buchi Babu Sana, might face another delay. While an April 30th release was recently announced, fresh reports suggest a potential postponement to June. The film, featuring Janhvi Kapoor and a stellar cast, has already seen its release date shifted once. AR Rahman is composing the music.

Ram Charan will next be seen in the upcoming awaited sports action drama ‘Peddi,’ directed by Buchi Babu Sana. Although the makers announced a release date of 30 April a few days ago, the latest buzz suggests it might be delayed again.

‘Peddi’ release date being pushed again?

On February 4, the makers took to their social media handle to share the movie's new release date. In the social media post, they shared that the film would release on April 30: “The date of his arrival changes, but not his MIGHTY GRIT. #PEDDI WORLDWIDE RELEASE ON 30th APRIL, 2026," the post read. Now, according to a report by 123Telugu, the makers seem to be reconsidering the release date. The film is reportedly postponed once again and is expected to hit theaters in June.

However, no official confirmation has been made.Additionally, it is also said that the second song of the film is expected to be released on March 2.

Cast of ‘Peddi’

‘Peddi’ stars Janhvi Kapoor as the female lead, marking her second Telugu outing after her debut in Tollywood with ‘Devara’. The film also features Shiva Rajkumar, Jagapathi Babu, Divyendu Sharma, Boman Irani and others in key roles.Earlier, the film was set to hit theaters on March 27, 2026, coinciding with Ram Charan’s birthday.

However, with Pawan Kalyan’s film ‘Ustaad Bhagat Singh’ releasing on March 26, the movie’s release date was pushed.The background score and songs for the film are composed by musical genius AR Rahman.Recently, the makers revealed that Jagapathi Babu plays a character named Appalasoori. Last December, the team finished the Delhi schedule for the film. Rathnavelu shared pictures from the sets on Instagram. He looked happy with the work done.
