Donald Trump has ordered every US federal agency to immediately stop using Anthropic AI tools. The move follows a dispute between Anthropic and the Pentagon last week. The agency has set a deadline for the Claude-maker, asking it to allow full military use of its AI technology.

Officials reportedly warned that the firm could face consequences if it did not agree to the request. In a post on Truth Social, the US President wrote that there will be a six month period for the agencies using Anthropic to phase it out.
