Fortnite is gearing up for one of its biggest music crossovers of the year as rapper Playboi Carti officially joins the Icon Series. Known for hits like Sky, Magnolia, and his latest track EVIL J0RDAN, Carti now becomes the latest real-world artist to appear in Fortnite, following collaborations featuring Eminem, Lady Gaga, and Metallica.

Playboi Carti Fortnite release date
The Playboi Carti skin is scheduled to arrive in the Fortnite Item Shop on December 11, 2025, coinciding with the deployment of the v39.10 update. Players can expect the skin to go live around 7 PM ET, which is the usual reset time for the shop.This update also introduces other major additions, including the LEGO Ninjago collaboration and the return of Fortnite OG Chapter 1 Season 7, making December 11 one of the most content-packed days of the season.

Epic Games released an official trailer across YouTube and social platforms, offering a closer look at the Carti-themed cosmetics. The trailer opens with the phrase “I am Fortnite”, followed by glimpses of different character styles.

While the full breakdown is yet to be confirmed, early visuals reveal:
- A jersey-style outfit
- A variant featuring Carti’s signature dreadlocks
- A stylized mask version with pointed ears, possibly inspired by Carti’s dark aesthetic

Pricing is expected to follow typical Icon Series standards:
- 1,500 V-Bucks for the standalone skin
- 2,500 V-Bucks for the complete bundle
