Plea to speed land acquisition process for MMTS from Ghatkesar to Yadadri

Bhuvanagiri Member of Parliament Chamala Kiran Kumar Reddy met South Central Railway General Manager Sanjay Kumar Srivastava on Monday, and discussed the progress of MMTS railway land acquisition from Ghatkesar to Yadadri-Bhuvanagiri.

Mr. Reddy said the Collectors of Yadadri and Medchal districts have already requested speeding up the process of land acquisition. The works on the Bhuvanagiri-Yadadri (Raigiri) section have already commenced and stressed on the need to speed up the project. He said this would bring immense relief to both devotees visiting Yadadri temple and daily commuters.

The MP also requested the SCR General Manager to consider halt facilities at Ramannapet station for trains like Falaknuma Express, Sabari Express and Narayanadri Express. The Railway General Manager responded positively to the proposal.

Along with the General Manager, South Central Railway Assistant General Manager Udayanath Kotla and MMTS Chief Project Manager Saiprasad were also present during the discussions.
