Police Arrest Maoist Sympathizer in Chatra, Recover Pamphlets and Laptop

Chatra: The police arrested a man from a village under Lawalong police station limits on Wednesday for allegedly being a Maoist sympathizer. SP Sumit Kumar Agarwal on Thursday accused Pintu Vishwakarma alias Pintu Mistri was arrested by a special team led by subdivisional police officer Shubham Khandelwal.

“Police recovered 10 Maoist pamphlets and a laptop from his possession. Following the arrest, an FIR was registered at Lawalong police station under various sections of BNSS and the CLA,” he said.
