The police officers paid tributes to freedom fighter and Iron Man of India Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel on his 150th birth anniversary on Friday (October 31, 2025).

Armed Reserve Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police K. Koteswara Rao and other officers garlanded the portrait of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel and paid tributes to the leader.

Later, police organised “Run for Unity” from Vyas Complex to the Collectorate to mark Rasthriya Ekta Diwas. Deputy Commissioner of Police S.V.D. Prasad and other officers participated.

Meanwhile in Eluru, Superintendent of Police K. Pratap Shiva Kishore garlanded the portrait of the freedom fighter and paid tributes. Later, the SP flagged off rally organised to mark ‘National Unity Day’. Additional SP N. Suryachandra Rao, AR Deputy Superintendent of Police Chandrashekar and other officers participated in the programme.
