Political manoeuvring on for mayor’s post

Though Chas Nagar Nigam elections are officially non-party, intense political manoeuvring is underway for the mayor’s post. Congress and BJP camps are buzzing with multiple aspirants and internal consultations. Meanwhile, independent candidates, including former mayor Bholu Paswan and Dr Vikas Pandey, son of former BJP MP Ravindra Pandey, have begun aggressive door-to-door campaigns.
