Pooja Hegde and Nora Fatehi join Raghava Lawrence's 'Kanchana 4' - Report

Filmmaker Raghava Lawrence has welcomed Pooja Hegde and Nora Fatehi to the 'Kanchana' franchise's upcoming installment, Kanchana 4. This marks Nora Fatehi's Tamil debut. The film, currently in production, sees Lawrence planning to convert his first home into a school with his earnings from the project. The series began with 'Muni' in 2007.

have joined the team. This marks the first collaboration between the actress and the actor-director.Sharing two separate posts, Raghava Lawrence introduced Nora Fatehi to the Kanchana world. He wrote, "She comes to Steal your Hearts with her Beauty and Make you Forget your Horror, Welcome on Board #TheDazzlingDiva @norafatehi to #Kanchana4! Get Ready for Mesmerizing." Interestingly, the film marks the dancing diva's first Tamil project.

In another post, he brought on board Pooja Hegde. Sharing a poster, he wrote, "Even in your Deepest Fear, She Comes to Tie Up and Faint you with her Beauty, Welcome on Board #TheStunningDiva @hegdepooja to #Kanchana4! A Heaven Await for You."

Pooja Hegde was last seen in a Tamil film with Suriya in 'Retro' in a full-fledged role and she also made an appearance in Rajinikanth's 'Coolie' directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj. She will next appear in Vijay's 'Jana Nayagan'.

Film currently in production

The film reportedly went on floors in September and is currently in production. Speaking in a video announcement at the time, Raghava Lawrence revealed that he plans to convert his first home into a school with the remuneration he earns from this project.

About 'Kanchana'

The series, 'Kanchana', directed and headlined by Raghava Lawrence, began with 'Muni' in 2007. The second film, 'Kanchana' released in 2011, was a breakthrough success, featuring Sarath Kumar.The film's success then led to sequels like 'Kanchana 2' with Taapsee Pannu and Nithya Menen, and 'Kanchana 3' starring Oviya and Vedhika.
