Power outage from 8a.m.-1p.m. in Eluru on August 6

The EPDCL Executive Engineer (Operations), Eluru, K.M. Ambedkar, on Tuesday announced that due to line maintenance works related to the Jalipudi Road widening project there will be a scheduled power shutdown in certain areas under the 11 KV Sriparru and Madepalli Industrial feeders, which originate from 33/11 KV S.V. Thota Substation. 

The power interruption is scheduled from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Wednesday (August 6, 2025). Affected areas include Madepalli Road, Sunkari Vari Thota, Premalayam, Gayatri Nagar, Venkatapuram MP Road, Lingaraovugudem, Katlampadu, Sriparru, Manuru, MH Puram, and Kalakurru.

The shutdown is necessary for maintenance and strengthening of power infrastructure to ensure long-term safety and reliable supply. Consumers in the mentioned areas are kindly requested to make necessary arrangements and cooperate with the department during this temporary outage, he added.
