Baahubali's re-release is a box office hit, raking in Rs 30 crore and becoming India's third-highest grossing re-release. However, the Hindi version's performance lags significantly behind its original releases, contributing only Rs 6.08 crore compared to Telugu's Rs 20.95 crore. This suggests a limited pull for the combined film in the Hindi market.
SS Rajamouli, Prabhas and Rana Daggubati’s Baahubli- The Epic is having a stellar run at the box office for a re-release film. The film has minted about Rs 30 crore making it the third biggest re-release film in India.
But a closer look at the overall collection reveals a not so pretty picture for the film;s Hindi version.
When Baahubali - The Beginning and Baahubali 2- The Conclusion were released in 2015 and 2107 respectively, more than the Telugu version it was the Hindi version of the film that had become the engine for the film. It was the Hindi market that happily accepted the film and turned 2nd part into a Rs 1000 crore film ; in fact Baahubali 2 was the first film from south of India to mint Rs 500 crore in Hindi. But when it comes to Baahubali- The Epic, it is the Telugu version that has been generating maximum revenue for the film. Of the total Rs 29.65 crore collection, just Rs 6.08 crore has come from Hindi , while Telugu’s contribution has been Rs 20.95 crore- with the rest coming from Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada. The response to the Hindi version showcases the limited pull for the combined version of both the films. Trade circle feels that the total Hinci collection by the end of Epic’s theatrical run would not be more than Rs 10 crore.
Baahubali - The Epic is well on its way to become the highest grossing re-release film in India over the weekend. The top two spots have been taken up by Sohum Shah’s Tumbbad with Rs with Rs 30.48 crore and top spot is held by
Harshvardhan Rane
’s Sanam Teri Kasam which collected Rs 33.18 crore. The film also features

,
Anushka Shetty
, Ramya Krishnan, Sathyaraj and Nassar in leading roles.
