Jana Sena Party (JSP) leaders Gurana Ayyalu, Avanapu Vikram and others on Monday (July 6, 2026) sought stern action against actor Prakash Raj, alleging that he was extending support to YouTuber Prasna Ravan and others who had reportedly made derogatory comments against Deputy Chief Minister and JSP President Pawan Kalyan.
Speaking to the media here, Mr. Ayyalu said Mr. Prakash Raj was instigating YouTubers to make hate speeches against Mr. Pawan Kalyan, and that this was evident from his recent social media posts.

Mr. Ayyalu said Mr. Prakash Raj had never responded to the atrocities that took place during the YSRCP regime, but promptly questioned the present NDA government when the police were acting against Prasna Ravan and others for making hate speeches.
Mr. Vikram said the YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) was funding YouTubers to defame Mr. Pawan Kalyan and other reputed leaders in the State.

JSP Cheepurupalli in-charge Viginigiri Srinivasa Rao said the Opposition party was trying to create unrest in the State by encouraging a few YouTubers.
The cases against the YouTuber
The YouTuber the JSP leaders named, Prasna Ravan, is already facing a run of cases. The Kakinada district police first arrested Joseph Bachalakuri, alias Prasna Ravan, in Hyderabad on June 30, over his remarks against Mr. Pawan Kalyan at a meeting in Eluru on June 28, and produced him before a Pithapuram court under the Information Technology Act, 2000, on a Jana Sena leader’s complaint.
In the four days that followed, the Sarpavaram, Payakaraopeta and Machilipatnam police registered four more cases against him. He was granted bail in all four.
On Sunday, the Gannavaram police of Krishna district invoked the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act, 1967, against him, along with sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, on a complaint alleging that he propagated CPI-Maoist ideology and gave an inciting speech at the Dalita Samara Shankaravam in Eluru. Advocate Jada Sravan criticised the government for invoking the UAPA against him.
Meanwhile, the party is in a jubilant mood over the good response from youngsters for the party posts. In all, 2,800 people, including over 400 women, applied for the party posts in Vizianagaram in the last five days.
