 I'm not struggling, I'm growing

Pranjal Sharma, known for his roles in 'Pushpa Impossible' and 'Manpasand Ki Shaadi,' transitioned from electronic engineering to acting, finding the routine job shift unsuitable.

Pranjal Sharma, who was seen in Pushpa Impossible and is currently part of Manpasand Ki Shaadi, spoke about his decision to leave behind a career in engineering and step into acting. “It was recently that I decided to pursue a career in acting.

Otherwise I have done Diploma in electronic engineering,” he said, adding that the routine of a regular job didn’t suit him.

“The actor's lifestyle is characterised by a combination of creative work, intense preparation, and often unpredictable schedules, and I enjoy it. The morning-to-evening job shift didn't go well with me.” While many consider the profession glamorous, Pranjal pointed out the demands it brings.

“An actor's profession involves a dedication to their craft, a willingness to work long and unsociable hours, and a constant pursuit of opportunities to perform and grow. While the profession can be glamorous, it also demands resilience, adaptability, and a strong work ethic. I'm enjoying my decision.” Sharma, who moved to Mumbai from Jaunpur in Uttar Pradesh, said he has not faced what is typically referred to as a struggle. “I heard people struggle here in the city of dreams to pursue their dreams in the entertainment industry. But I'm not struggling. I'm enjoying working back-to-back, which is keeping me grow and going. Apart from shooting for TV on and off, I'm also shooting for OTT shows. I'm sure my journey as an actor will be successful.

Looking ahead, he has a clear understanding of the roles he wishes to explore. “I wish to play some promising and challenging roles.”
