Weddings in television shows are always often filled with emotions, drama, and a lot of unexpected twists. Prathaon Ki Odhe Chunri: Beendani is living up to this tradition with its current wedding storyline.
The much-talked-about wedding of Ghevar and Kundan is gaining attention, for its grand ceremony as well as for the many layers of love, guilt, and responsibility tied to it.Actor Akash Jagga, who plays Kundan, shared his experience of shooting the track and shared some behind-the-scenes moments. Talking about the sequence, Akash revealed, “In our current track, Ghevar and Kundan are getting married. But Kundan’s reason for marriage isn’t love—it is his way of standing by a promise.
Once in front of everyone, he had declared that Ghevar is his Beendani. To prove his words true and to protect Ghevar and Gannu, he goes ahead with the marriage.
Somewhere in his heart, he also carries guilt because Ghevar lost her brother and sister-in-law because of him. So, this wedding is more about duty and regret than love.”He further explained how the wedding scenes include a lot of drama and challenges. “Weddings in shows are usually emotional and dramatic, but this one took a surprising turn during the sixth phera when Gannu suddenly went missing.
That’s when Gauri and I had to search for him, and the scenes became really intense. Shooting was fun, but also challenging. At one point, Gauri and I were tied together with a gathbandhan and had to run while shooting.
I was barefoot, doing action scenes, and even riding a bike. The tough part was that I had injured my foot just a few days before during another action scene, so it was painful. But I gave my best. Despite the injury, I enjoyed the sequence because action scenes are always exciting as an actor.”The show Prathaon Ki Odhe Chunri: Beendani tells the story of Ghevar, a lively girl from a small village in Rajasthan. After losing her parents, she is raised with love by her elder brother and sister-in-law. Her world is simple which only revolves around her family, until fate brings a newborn child into their lives.
