Premnath appointed Lakshadweep legal literacy head

P. Premnath, former deputy director of prosecutions and project coordinator of legal clubs in Attappady, has been appointed Lakshadweep Legal Literacy Cell project coordinator.

Mr. Premnath will spearhead the legal literacy initiative in Lakshadweep, devising and implementing schemes to create legal literacy among students in the island.

Currently he is secretary general of VISWAS India, an organisation working for the welfare of the victims of crimes and excesses.
