Before the official release of ‘Stranger Things’ season 5, the viewership ratings for the previous seasons have been amped up. As per Nielsen reports shared online, the show ended up entering the top 10 list of the original streaming shows from Octiber 13 to October 19. The show managed to garner around 393 million minutes of viewing time for the prior four seasons of the show, setting a record as they get revived again just in time for the finale.

This is the first time since June this year that the show has entered the official Nielsen ranking charts as well. The high move comes in time with the release of the final season, which has fans reeling with excitement.

About ‘Stranger Things’ season 5

The fifth and final installment will see the gang in their final face off against the main antagonist of the show, Vecna. The town of Hawkins is now ridden with catastrophe as they deal with the rifts that opened up in the seaon 4 finale. Hundereds dead and resources dwindling, everyone is on their fight to survival as Vecna regains his strength and makes a comeback. The show will be released in three installments, with the first four episodes dropping on November 26.

Follwoing this, the next three episodes will be released on Christmas Eve. The final, 8th episode, which will be approximately two hours long, will drop on New Years, timing itself with the celebration of new beginnings.
