Prince Harry Told King Charles He’s ‘Determined To Reset’ Relationship With Family: Report

Prince Harry told his father, King Charles, that he will rebuild his relationship with the family with whom he feuded earlier and will begin repairing ties with his father.

Prince Harry promised his father King Charles that he is determined to ‘reset’ his relationship with his family when both met Wednesday at their first meeting in 20 months in Clarence Hall in the UK.

Harry, the Duke of Sussex, last saw his father in February 2024, shortly after it was announced that the king was undergoing treatment for an unspecified form of cancer.

Buckingham Palace confirmed that Charles, 76, had a private tea at Clarence House in London with his son on Wednesday.

The Daily Mail citing an unnamed source said that Harry told Charles that “he could be trusted to stay quiet about their private discussions" and “he won’t be giving any interviews about it and his team have been instructed not to brief journalists about what was said".

“This is an important first step towards rebuilding their father-and-son relationship. There’s a long way to go before Harry can earn his family’s trust but he’s given some assurances," the royal insider was quoted as saying by the UK-based newspaper.
