Progress of upcoming children’s hosp bldg reviewed

Times News NetworkPrayagraj: Principal of Motilal Nehru (MLN) Medical College, Dr AK Verma on Saturday inspected the Children’s hospital building currently under-construction within the SRN Hospital complex.

This project is being executed under the supervision of the Allahabad high court. During the inspection, Verma reviewed the progress and quality of the construction work, as well as various technical arrangements, and issued directives to officials from the executing agency to complete the project within the stipulated time frame.Focus was laid on the dual oxygen pipeline system, installation of patient lifts, glass fitting works, and the electrical panel board installations. Meanwhile, SRN hospital authorities also held a detailed discussion regarding the formulation of an action plan and necessary protocols for the transfer of services to the new children’s hospital, with the aim of ensuring that patients do not face any inconvenience once the hospital becomes operational.Meanwhile, the authorities of the Swaroop Rani Nehru (SRN) hospital, apart from ensuring the availability of cool drinking water, seating arrangements, electric fans, have also launched the facility of stretchers and wheelchairs at the main entrance, for the convenience of visiting patients and their accompanying relatives. Now, these facilities are available at the entrance of the Trauma Centre.eom
