Pune Station Shuts Down: Several platforms at Pune station will remain unavailable during this period, affecting trains on the Pune-Mumbai routes.

Passengers travelling through Pune Railway Station on Sunday, June 14, should plan ahead — a nine-hour traffic and power block announced by the Pune Division of Central Railway will disrupt train operations across multiple routes, with several services cancelled, curtailed or rescheduled for the day.

The block, scheduled from 8 am to 5 pm, will see railway teams carry out point replacement works, signalling upgrades and overhead electrical equipment maintenance across the Pune yard.

According to Pune Mirror, several platforms at Pune station will remain unavailable during this period, affecting trains on the Pune–Mumbai, Pune–Nagpur, Pune–Daund, Pune–Baramati and Pune–Satara routes, among others.

• The Pune–Kolhapur Express will begin its journey from Satara on June 14 instead of Pune.

Which Long-Distance Trains Face Delays?

How Can Passengers Check Train Status?

Railway authorities have urged passengers to verify the latest status of their trains before heading to the station. Real-time updates are available on the NTES app and other official Indian Railways platforms.
