Pune Rape Case: Police have detained two people in connection with the rape of a 25-year-old woman in Pune.

According to officials, the identification of the accused will take place after the victim completes her medical examination. The process will be based on the victim’s statement.

The incident took place on Wednesday at nearly 7:30 p.m. The accused reportedly entered the woman’s society as a courier delivery boy. Despite the woman saying that she had no courier in her name, he insisted, saying, “A signature is required", as per sources.

As the woman opened the door, he went inside her home to get the PIN for the courier, closed the door, and allegedly raped her.

Some media reports also claim that the accused sprayed something on her face before he raped her. He also took a selfie using the woman’s phone and left a message that read: “I’ll be back".
