Congress leader and Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi’s legal team is set to withdraw an application that alleged a threat to his life in the Savarkar defamation case. Advocate Milind Pawar, representing Gandhi, admitted that he filed the plea without consulting the Congress leader.
Pawar stated that the application will be withdrawn on Thursday. In a fresh press statement, the lawyer revealed that Rahul Gandhi has taken strong exception to the content of the plea.
