SASARAM/BHABUA/GAYA: Defence minister Rajnath Singh on Saturday accused Congress's Rahul Gandhi of practising "divisive politics" under the guise of concern for marginalised communities and questioned his commitment to social justice. Addressing rallies in Sasaram and Bhabua, Singh said, "If Rahul is really concerned about SCs, STs or minority communities, he should have given the post of leader of opposition in Lok Sabha to someone from these communities." Rejecting his allegation of "vote chori" in Bihar, Singh said, "If Rahul thinks votes are being stolen, he should file a complaint with EC. He is not doing that and is simply levelling false allegations against a constitutional body." Singh also criticised Rahul's remarks about reservations in the armed forces.
