But this time, the excitement is even more as the celebration has gotten bigger, thanks to the place where I am performing. Lalbaugcha Raja is the most auspicious and the most blessed stage that anyone can have.”Talking further, Rahul said this was one of the most important events of his career and added, “I don't think I could have been happier. There are many performances, but this one has got to be special.”At the event, Rahul will also sing his latest devotional track ‘Sukhkarta X Jai Jai Ganesha’ along with other bhajans dedicated to Lord Ganesha.

He revealed, “It will have a traditional and cultural touch to it. I am not going to do anything out of the box. I have compiled 6-7 devotional songs. I am making sure that the sound is very different. I have also gotten myself a very beautiful Indian outfit.”Apart from his performance, Rahul is equally excited to welcome Ganpati at his home. Talking about his five-day Ganpati celebration, he said, “The decorations and all preparations are about to begin.

I am very excited, as always. I am not good at decorations, nor am I good at making modaks. I myself went and confirmed the Ganpati. Getting Bappa home is my only duty. Preparations and all are done by Disha.”Last year, Rahul had to miss out on making a Ganpati song as he was diagnosed with dengue around the same time. Looking back at it, he said, “I had dengue around the same time last year, so I couldn’t make a song. But I try and make a song every year for Ganpati, and this is something that comes from the heart and does not require planning.”Rahul Vaidya rose to fame with Indian Idol season 1, where he was the second runner up for the season. Over the years, he has built a strong career with hit songs and live performances. The singer was last seen in the reality show Laughter Chefs, where he showcased his funny side and cooking skills.
