Raja Jackson under fire after dangerous attack on Stuart Smith sparks massive online backlash (Image Via Google)
Raja Jackson, son of former UFC champion Quinton “Rampage” Jackson, shocked fans on August 23, 2025, at a Knokx Pro Wrestling event in Los Angeles, California. During the live stream on Kick, Raja stormed into the ring while wrestler Stuart Smith, better known as Syko Stu, was facing another opponent.
Raja suddenly lifted Smith and slammed him to the mat before throwing more than 20 punches at him. Smith appeared knocked out, and other wrestlers had to drag Raja away. Smith was later taken to the hospital with serious injuries.

Video from the event shows Raja’s move started as part of the show, but the punches were not planned. Wrestling reporter Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful wrote that the attack was “a work gone wrong.”
He added that Raja “knocked him out and landed heavy punches that were not meant to happen.” Fans in the arena could be heard screaming as Raja kept striking Smith, who was motionless on the mat. Reports say Raja hit him more than 20 times before others stepped in. The shocking moment spread quickly online, and Kick later banned Raja Jackson from its platform.

Before the match, tensions were already high. Outside the venue, Stuart Smith struck Raja on the head with a can.
Stuart Smith later apologized on the livestream, saying he thought Raja was another wrestler and did not mean harm. Raja even appeared to accept the apology before going into the ring.After the attack, Rampage Jackson spoke out on X, apologizing on behalf of his son. He said the moment was supposed to be part of the show but admitted it went too far. Rampage also revealed Raja Jackson had been dealing with a recent concussion and should not have been inside the ring.Smith is now recovering in the hospital, with fans and fellow wrestlers sending him prayers.
