Rajgir Zoo Safari to remain shut on March 3 and 4 for Holi

Rajgir Zoo Safari and Nature Safari in Nalanda will be closed to visitors on March 3rd and 4th due to the Holi festival. This decision, made for security and administrative reasons, aims to ensure smooth law and order during the celebrations. Tourists are advised to plan their trips accordingly, as operations will resume on March 5th.

Patna: Rajgir Zoo Safari and Nature Safari in Nalanda district will remain closed for tourists on March 3 and 4 on Holi. The administration took the decision considering security and administrative aspects.

No tourists will be allowed to enter the premises during these two days. The step has been taken to maintain law and order during the festival.According to a notice issued by the director of Rajgir Zoo Safari, Ram Sundar M, and the district forest officer of Nalanda, Rajkumar M, “the safari and zoo facilities will be closed on March 3 and 4 on the occasion of the Holi festival.”The information was made public through Office Order No-69 of the department of environment, forest and climate change.

A copy of the order was sent to the district magistrate, district public relations officer, and all veterinary officers and staff associated with the safari to avoid any confusion among tourists.Director Ram Sundar M and DFO Rajkumar M appealed to tourists to plan their visits keeping this holiday in mind. Safari operations will resume at the scheduled time from March 5.The Zoo Safari offers visitors an opportunity to see roaming tigers, lions, bears and other wild animals. Meanwhile, the Nature Safari features a glass bridge, suspension bridge and other adventure activities that attract tourists.
