Ram Chander Naik to be Deputy Speaker

Dornakal MLA Ram Chander Naik will be the Deputy Speaker of the Assembly. Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy revealed this on a post on ‘X’ while congratulating the three new Ministers. However, there is no information on the official appointment of Dr. Naik.

Dr Naik, a surgeon, was elected from the Dornakal (ST) constituency in Mahabubabad district defeating senior BRS leader Redya Naik. He is a first-time MLA and is considered close to the Chief Minister. He completed his MBBS in 1998 and later did his M.S. (General) at Osmania Medical College in 2001. His wife is also a doctor.
