Part One' launch at Gateway of India pushed to May amid Middle East geopolitical tensions - Reports

Nitesh Tiwari's highly anticipated 'Ramayana: Part One' launch event, initially planned for March 26 at Mumbai's Gateway of India, has been postponed. Producers cited ongoing global tensions, particularly in the Middle East, as the reason for delaying the grand reveal of its star-studded cast, including Ranbir Kapoor and Yash.

Filmmaker Nitesh Tiwari’s magnum opus ‘Ramayana: Part One,’ is one of the most anticipated projects set to release this year. Currently in the production stage, the makers had planned to host a grand event to showcase the main characters from the epic.

However, the latest updates suggest that they may have delayed the event due to ongoing tensions in the Middle East.

Event at Gateway of India

The team had already finalized the venue and other arrangements to reveal the looks of the leading stars at the famous Gateway of India in Mumbai. However, now, as per a report by Mid-Day, the producer Namit Malhotra has planned to postpone the launch event, which was set to be held on March 26 during the Ram Navami festival.

Global crisis causes delay

Reports suggest that ongoing conflict involving the United States, Israel and Iran has had a global impact. With the film targeted to cater to a global audience, the promotions are now expected to begin around May. The makers feel that the current situation is not the most conducive environment to reveal such an important aspect of the project, so they do not want to rush it.
