Ranbir Kapoor was spotted in Bandra with director Nitesh Tiwari and producer Namit Malhotra on April 1. This was just one day before the teaser release.
He had recently returned from Los Angeles where the teaser was unveiled at special screenings. During the event, Ranbir spoke about the significance of playing Lord Ram.Ranbir Kapoor plays Lord Ram. Sai Pallavi will be seen as Sita and Yash as Ravana. Sunny Deol plays Hanuman and Ravie Dubey is cast as Lakshman. Other actors in the film include Arun Govil, Kunal Kapoor, Adinath Kothare, Sheeba Chaddha and Indira Krishnan. The project is backed by Namit Malhotra and DNEG.
