Quinton “Rampage” Jackson, the former UFC champion, is finding himself in the middle of a storm he didn’t create. Following a heated wrestling fight involving his son, Raja Jackson, the MMA legend says he has been bombarded with death threats and racist abuse online.
What should have been a routine weekend at a Los Angeles wrestling event has now spiraled into an ugly controversy drawing widespread attention.
‘Rampage’ Jackson opens up on hateful messages
Speaking briefly at Los Angeles International Airport, Jackson revealed how toxic the backlash has become. “There’s a lot of racist people giving me death threats and stuff like that,” he said, admitting that some trolls have even branded him a “bad father.” The 45-year-old emphasized that such comments were “uncalled for,” before refusing to elaborate further, saying anything he adds often gets twisted.
For Jackson, whose fighting career made him one of MMA’s most recognizable names, this situation has highlighted the darker side of fame. Social media, once a platform for fans to connect with fighters, has instead become a tool for harassment. The UFC veteran made it clear that he wants the barrage of hate to stop.
The Raja Jackson and Syko Stu incident
The uproar stems from a KnokX Pro Wrestling show in Los Angeles where Raja Jackson confronted wrestler Syko Stu, real name Stuart Smith.
Earlier in the evening, Stu had struck Raja with a beer can during the performance. What was supposed to be a scripted “payback” moment later escalated when Raja entered the ring, knocked Stu unconscious, and delivered multiple punches in what appeared to be a real attack.Stu was rushed to the hospital with “severe injuries to his head,” according to his brother. Thankfully, updates confirmed that he is “currently conscious and able to talk.”
A GoFundMe launched to assist with medical bills has already crossed $60,000 in donations, reflecting the concern within the wrestling community. The Los Angeles Police Department has since confirmed an investigation into the matter, though no arrests have been made. WWE Hall of Famer Mark Henry weighed in, suggesting that Stu also bore some responsibility for the escalation. Still, for Rampage Jackson, the fallout has been deeply personal, as his family now deals with public scrutiny alongside hateful threats. Also Read: Syko Stu’s brother breaks silence after vicious Raja Jackson attack—Issues urgent scam alert!
