MUMBAI: The 2025-26 season of the Ranji Trophy is likely to start from October 15, TOI has learnt. SUBSCRIBE NOW!The BCCI’s junior tournaments (men & women) are likely to begin from October 9. The 2024-25 Ranji Trophy season began from October 11. Like last season, the Ranji Trophy will be held in two phases, with the first five matches being held in the first phase in Oct-Nov, followed by Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy (20 overs, in December) and the Vijay Hazare Trophy (50 overs, in January).The second phase of the Ranji Trophy - comprising the last two league matches and the knockouts - will resume in January-end. Vidarbha are the defending Ranji champions. They beat Kerala in the final.
